Olivia Knight has 20 years of experience managing third party relationships from a commercial, contractual and risk mitigation standpoint. She has led and developed global Strategic Sourcing/ Procurement and Third Party/ Vendor Risk Management functions in both the First and Second Line of Defense. Her expertise includes building a Vendor Risk Management function from the ground up as well as transforming a global Third-Party Risk Management function in the Financial Services industry. She has led multiple Supply Chain functions with an emphasis on Procurement and Sourcing in Germany, China and the US in the Manufacturing, Technology and Financial Services industries. Her experience allows her to make strategic third-party decisions taking the entire lifecycle and risk exposure into consideration.
Her experience includes:
- Developing and leading large-scale organizational changes pertaining to vendors, such as a vendor re-tiering project.
- Developing and managing mandatory company-wide trainings on third party/ vendor risk to increase awareness and the importance of vendor due diligence.
- Developing and implementing policies, controls, KRIs and KPIs leading to improved compliance, transparency, data integrity and accountability.
- Negotiating complex, multi-million-dollar contracts in the Professional Services and IT categories leading to cost reductions, innovation, an increase in value-add services.
- Developing savings levers for IT categories to drive strategic cost optimization efforts leading to sustainable reductions in operating costs.
Olivia has a Masters of Pacific International Affairs (MBA/ MIA) focusing on China from UC San Diego and a B.S. in International Business and Marketing (Magna cum laude) from CSU, Sacramento.
