This Privacy Policy includes the practices of TechPar Group DBA TPG Consulting and its business partners, subsidiaries and affiliates (hereinafter collectively referred to as “TPG”, “us” or “we”) with respect to the data collected by TPG from or in connection to “https://www.tpgconsulting.com/”or from any website of TPG’s affiliates, or from any other interaction (such as emails, applications, newsletters, or forms) where we display or link or refer to this Privacy Policy. 

TPG understands and supports the importance of your data privacy. TPG respects your privacy and is eager to protect your personal data, which is defined as any content or information that is capable of identifying you as an individual person. 

This Privacy Policy describes how TPG processes and protects your personal data in connection with TPGs’ activities, services, business and websites, social media, applications, and communications that includes a link or refer to this Privacy Policy (hereinafter collectively referred to as “the Sources”), in TPG’s capacity as the data controller. 

We collect personal data during and based on our business activities, including in connection with our services. We also collect personal data on certain areas of the Sources when you register for or apply for positions, promotions or any kind of online commitment through TPG or Sources, create a profile, register for newsletters and alerts, participate in activities, sign up for conferences, webinars and events, and/or participate in public user posting areas (including but not limited to bulletin boards, forums and surveys). The personal data collected can vary from time to time and may include information that you provide, such as your business’ industry, name and surname, mailing address, your occupation(s), e-mail address, telephone number, and background information when required.

TPG may also gather relevant personal data from third parties, in the course of TPG’s  business, operations and activities. Aforementioned data collection may include  demographic, professional and other information that is publicly available and/or online, including the content you choose to share/make public through social media platforms and other online platforms. TPG can use or merge this data together with the pre-existing information or use it independently, for the purposes of our benchmarking and data analytics activities). TPG aims to do its best effort on being sure that the third party has provided transparent information concerning the usage of this data.

TPG may use your personal data to comply with your requests on information, to process your requests to participate in webinars and events, to personalize information or content that you view or receive from/on the Sources, to enhance and evaluate its services, to send you newsletters and notifications, to recruit and vet job applicants, to analyze Sources’ performance and functioning, to prevent fraud or infringement, to implement internal terms and regulations to the extent possible, to comply with the law and relevant obligations, to enforce the agreements where TPG is a party or undertaker, and to accomplish other claims you may initiate or request. The collection or retention of personal data may be required for the operations of the Sources or TPG, or we may use it in the course of the business, to provide certain services or products from time to time. TPG reserves the right to merge and/or combine and/or analyze personal data to evaluate and offer the most relevant content and services to you. TPG processes your personal data with below mentioned legal bases and/or concerns: 

i. to protect, market and support TPG, to build and maintain relationships, to conduct recruitment or any related hiring including but not limited with mergers and acquisitions, and to provide services; 

ii. on/with your consent, as explained hereby in this Privacy Policy;

iii. to comply with the law, when providing, sharing or taking any necessary action on some specific content/information is or becomes necessary to satisfy the relevant legal or regulatory obligations.

The above-mentioned personal data collected, may be transferred from time to time to TPG subsidiaries and affiliates and their shareholders, managers, directors, employees across our organization and to the third party service providers located throughout the world. Please note that those third party service providers can be located in countries where the relevant or local law may or will grant you less rights or independence than you obtain in your applicable or origin country. 

TPG undertakes to make its best effort to not intentionally disclose, share or transfer your personal data to third parties without your consent or as otherwise required/permitted by law, whether for such third parties’ own marketing purposes or otherwise, except as follows. 

TPG will take reasonable cautions to prevent the unauthorized or accidental disclosure of your personal data . 

TPG also may share your personal data with third party service providers who perform services and functions on our behalf to support our interactions with you.

Furthermore, TPG may disclose information about you arisen from below mentioned causes: 

  • In case TPG is required to disclose your personal data by law or juridical/legal process;

  • To law enforcement authorities or other government officials when duly requested by the foretold authorities/officials;
  • In case TPG decides that disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent monetary or material loss/damage or in connection with an investigation or arisen from an ongoing illegal activity;

TPG may contain or provide links to third party websites or social media platforms or information to our users. If you click on these links, you may leave the Sources. Such links do not constitute or imply an approval, implicit approval, sponsorship, or recommendation by TPG of the third party, the third party website, or the information contained therein, and TPG is not responsible or liable for any possible damages. Such use shall be subject to the terms of use and privacy policies applicable to those sites.

TPG has implemented high standards of technological and operational security to protect personal data from theft, loss, misuse, alteration, or unwanted destruction. Only relevant and expert TPG employees and third party service providers are provided access to your personal data, and these employees and service providers are contractually required to treat this information as confidential. Although TPG takes relevant and reasonable measures and precautions it should not be interpreted as a guarantee that unauthorized or unwanted persons will not obtain access to your personal data.

TPG retains your personal data, as necessary, for the duration of the relevant business relationship and TPG’s activities. TPG reserves the right to retain your personal data for longer than the duration of the business relationship should we need to retain it in order to protect ourselves against legal claims, use it for analysis or retro-active record-keeping, or comply with our information management policies and schedules. If you request us to destroy your personal data, TPG will make reasonable attempts to delete all instances of the information in their entirety. 

Where granted by applicable law, you may have the right to request access to the personal data that we have collected about you for the purposes of reviewing, modifying, or requesting extinction of the data. You may also have the right to request a copy of the personal data. In certain circumstances, you may also request us to cease processing your personal data.

Depending on the legislation; different laws may prevent us from providing access to your personal data or otherwise fully complying with your request depending upon the circumstances and the request, such as for example, where producing your information may reveal the identity of someone else. We reserve the right to charge an appropriate fee for complying with your request where allowed by applicable law, and/or deny your requests where they may be manifestly unfounded, and/or excessive, or otherwise objectionable or unwarranted under applicable law.
